Strange things can happen in quiet places. Woodlands and forests are the perfect places to find the twist of a tree sculpture or strange fungi satelliting out of stumps. Layers of leaves form ornate carpets while the textures of bark keep mark of time in the stillness. A moving stillness. For in the quiet, when you think everything including time can stand still, water flows over stones, the ornate carpet rustles in the breeze which heads straight through the columns of broken branches. Little pillars saluting the sun in praise of the strange things that happen in the quiet of the woods.
